Overview of Seminar, Workshop & Other Activities

Seminar Series for QEF eLAFP Funding and AI for Empowering Learning and Teaching Funding Programme (『智』啟學教)

Funding to School to Promote Digital Education

This seminar series supports schools in using AI and digital tools to enhance teaching and learning. In line with the 2025 Policy Address, the EDB has allocated $2 billion from the QEF, including a $500 million, three-year AI funding programme offering schools up to $500,000 in flexible support. The series also covers the QEF eLAFP, which has funded 22 EdTech projects, each available for up to three years via vouchers. It's a key opportunity to understand funding mechanisms and plan for AI-driven educational transformation.

 

5 - 6 February 2026(Thursday and Friday)

Topic 1: AI for Empowering Learning and Teaching Funding Programme (啟學教) - Strategize for a Smart, AI-driven Transformation in Education

Topic 2: QEF eLAFP – Briefing to School on the background of the programme, subscription requirements and demonstration, and key reminders

Teaching Sharing

Peer sharing and experience exchange by over 10 teachers – practical applications of AI and e-learning in teaching and learning.
This series moves beyond technical specs, focusing on real-world classroom experiences. Teachers will share firsthand cases of how they successfully integrated AI and e-learning tools, providing valuable insights to help educators confidently adopt new technologies in their teaching.

 

20+ Seminars, Workshops and Demonstration Lessons

Experts and EdTech solution developers will share practical features and best practices during the seminar. Participants will have hands-on opportunities to trial and experience the functionalities firsthand.

60+ EdTech Solutions Showcase

20+ QEF eLAFP Consultation Clinics

EdTech professionals from HKPC Academy will provide instant one-on-one consultations to help teachers select the most suitable solutions from the 22 QEF eLAFP offerings based on their school’s specific needs.

20+ EdTech Pitching & Chit-Chat Session

An interactive session where presenters showcase their ideas and solutions with a facilitator, inspiring the audience and sparking thoughtful reflections.

HKPC – “Seeing is Believing” Guided Tour Visiting "InnoSpace" and "Aviation Training Hub"​

Inno Propotype:  Assist students in transforming creative ideas and designs into product prototypes to enhance their creative thinking.
Aviation Training Hub: Through flight simulation STEAM activities, learn how to advance aviation education in schools and align with the trend of low-altitude economy.

Online registration for entry pass and activities will be open from 13 January 2026 on this webpage.

Registration Prerequisites

  • Attendees are not permitted to eat or drink inside HKPC.
  • Attendees are responsible for arranging their own transportation to/from the meeting/dismissal point.​
  • Attendees must arrive at the meeting point on time; latecomers will not be waited for.​
  • If the Council needs to change the time or cancel the event due to unforeseen circumstances, the Council will notify attendees by email as early as practicable.​
  • If a Tropical Cyclone Warning Signal No. 8 or above, or a Red or above Rainstorm Warning Signal, is still in effect 3 hours before the start of the event, the event will be automatically cancelled.​
  • Applicants wishing to cancel their reservations must contact the Council at academy@hkpc.org no later than 3 days before the event.​
  • The Council reserves the right to withdraw this event or amend the terms and conditions at any time without prior notice. In the event of any dispute or discrepancy concerning the interpretation of this event and its terms and conditions, or related matters, HKPC's decision shall be final.​
