Research on the opportunities of developing low-altitude economy to Hong Kong enterprises Conference
Introduction
With the funding from “Trade and Industrial Organisation Support Fund”, the Hong Kong Aviation Industry Association (HKAIA) has launched a 17-month project titled “Research on the opportunities of developing low-altitude economy to Hong Kong enterprises”. The project includes two focus group meetings, two site visits, and a detailed research report. After its completion, a dissemination conference will be held to share the findings with stakeholders and discuss the future of Hong Kong businesses in low-altitude economy.

As the concluding event of the 17-month project Research on the opportunities of developing low-altitude economy to Hong Kong enterprises, this conference will officially release the research report and share the latest trends, technological breakthroughs, regulatory frameworks and business opportunities of the low-altitude economy globally and in the Greater Bay Area.
The conference convenes leaders and experts from Aerovision Technology, FlightPro Aviation, EHang, HKUST, Shanghai DianJi University, UAS Limited, and Ziyan UAV, as well as other enterprises, government bodies, and academic institutions. Focusing on UAV, eVTOL and Urban Air Mobility (UAM), it will discuss key topics including airspace integration, infrastructure development, cross-border collaboration and SME participation pathways, mapping out the 2026–2030 development blueprint for Hong Kong’s aviation industry.
