We cordially invite you to attend this to know more about the latest research findings in the lithium-ion batteries industry and novel recycling technology!
Event Details
14:30 - 16:00
Room 123, 1/F, HKPC Building, 78 Tat Chee Avenue, Kowloon
Zoom meeting
Cantonese and Putonghua
Those with interest in lithium-ion batteries industry
About the Event
- With people becoming more aware of environmental protection, Electric Vehicle (EV) or Hybrid EV have dominated half of automotive market. The shelf life of lithium ion battery (LIB) is about 4 - 7 years, which incurred in 2020 around 160,000 tons of end-of-life (EOL) LIBs in China, thus, recycling EOL LIB is a hot topic in battery manufacturing and EV industry.
- In this seminar, HKPC experts will introduce a novel recycling method for both electrodes, which can directly regenerate cathode and anode materials to manufacture new LIB, and partly extract graphene (upcycling product from graphite) from EOL battery, increasing the types of recyclable products in LIB, and reduce environmental pollution and resource waste.
