Established by the Environmental Protection Department of the Hong Kong SAR Government, the Recycle Fund aims to promote the recovery and recycling of waste by facilitating the upgrading of the operational capabilities and efficiency of the recycling industry for sustainable development. Under the Recycling Fund, the “Enterprise Support Programme” (ESP) aims to enhance and expand the recycling operations in Hong Kong. Furthermore, the solicitation theme “Projects from New and Start-up Enterprises” (SUP) under ESP aims to support new and start-up enterprises in adopting innovative ideas to facilitate recycling operations.
We cordially invite your company/ organization to participate in the briefing session of the Recycling Fund, where you can learn about different schemes, application details and experience sharing. Under the Standard Project, Success Grand Environmental Limited will be invited to share their approved project for purchasing additional equipment, including AI-based sorter system, plastic washing line and a pelletizer to upgrade the capability of recyclers in processing local recyclables. In addition, Green Island Environmental Technologies Limited under SUP will share their experience in collecting waste oyster shells and deliver them to a local cement manufacturing plant to replace limestone made of virgin material which is one of the ingredients for production of cement.
